Affinity Medical Center will once again offer a complete physical that meets the requirements for participating in athletic sports. The physical is good for one calendar year. If you would like to participate in a sport next year, we encourage you to take advantage of this offer. The cost is $10.00. The unstructured time during the summer break from school can be difficult for parents of school age children to plan for, but it can be even more challenging for parents of children with disabilities. This Third Thursday event will focus on summer break activities parents can consider that will support their child’s integration into the community by teaching them basic life skills. (more…)
ACT testing scheduled at PHS for Saturday, April 9th has been canceled due to inclement weather and road conditions. Information on a make-up date will be posted as soon as it becomes available. Mrs. Daily’s 9 am AP Psychology test practice has also been canceled.
Girl Scout Troop 61039 will hold a flag retirement ceremony on Friday, May 6th from 6p – 8p. The ceremony will take place at Eden Church of the Brethren located at 4437 Richville Dr, Canton. Those who wish to attend are welcome to bring lawn chairs to sit around the fire. We have prepared over 300 flags for retirement as our Silver Award. The Silver Award is the highest honor Cadette Girl Scouts can earn.
Perry Service League will be volunteering to help the Friends of Stark Pound have a successful Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, April 16th 8a-10a at Applebee’s on Dressler Road. Proceeds will help the pound to continue to vaccinate homeless dogs in Stark County and to spay or neuter them before they are adopted.
