PHS Men’s Booster Club Golf Outing Success at Tam O’Shanter

15-phs-alumni-golfers-and-coachesOn Sunday, September 11, 2016, PHS Men’s Booster Club Golf Outing was a success at Tam O’Shanter Hills Golf Course.  With 31 teams and a 9:30 shotgun start, the day was great for all.  There were 16 PHS alumni golfers and coaches golfing.  Congratulations to Stephen Zaenger, who’s hole-in-one on 12th hole added to the success of the day.  A special thank you to our hole sponsors, door prize donors, golfers, and volunteers. Your support of our young men is greatly appreciated.

  • Boys Cross Country – 3rd out of 14 schools at the Walsh Jesuit Tomahawk Run Invitational (Cole Morris finished 10th overall), Overall Record 36-3

JJH_award_headerBe sure to vote for 2 Perry Athletes and the Perry Boys Golf Team as MaxPreps/JJHuddle.com Athlete and Team of the Week.  Kasey Pukys is a Girls Tennis nominee after winning the singles title at the Marietta Invitational.  Gunnar McCollins is a Boys Golf nominee after shooting a school record 31 in a match against GlenOak in which the team shot a school record 143.

  • Football – Vandalia Butler W 24-14 (Devon Morgon rushed for 69 yards on 16 carries for a TD, Sir Elliott ran 9 times for 44 yards and a TD, Max Baker threw a 9 yard TD pass to Andy Price), Overall Record 1-0
  • Boys Golf – GlenOak W 143-157 (Team record score of 143 and Gunnar McCollins set a new school record shooting 5 under par for a 31), Jackson L 164-156, Overall Record 1-1, League Record 1-1
