2016 Football Season Tickets Information

helmet 1We are once again gearing up for an exciting football season.  Reserve your season tickets now for the 2016 Varsity Football season.  Sales have begun and will go through Friday, May 13, 2016.  Pick-up will be June 1-16, 2015 (M-TH).

The cost is $40.00 per set (5 homes games).  By ordering season tickets, you are guaranteed your reserved seat(s) for the entire season.  At the time of pick-up, you will receive all of your tickets plus a season ticket holder membership card.  You will be able to keep your reserved seat assignment(s) from year-to-year, provided you purchase season tickets each year.

Season ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets for away and post season games by showing their season ticket holder membership card starting on Tuesday morning the week of the game.  General public will start purchasing on Wednesday of the same week.

March 14th Panther Scoreboard

  • Indoor Track: Lucas Kelley and Macee Erickson each competed in the pole vault at the New Balance Indoor National Meet in New York City. Lucas set a new personal best with a vault of 16’9.25 to finish 3rd overall and was just 4 inches off the National Champion mark. Macee finished 10th overall clearing 12 feet.
  • Wrestling: Six Panther wrestlers competed at the Stark County All-Star Wrestling Classic. The event featured the first, second, and third-team Division I wrestlers against those from Division II and III. Gary Define, Emil Soehnlen, Jake Little, Zac Blackiston, and Logan Lacourt all surprisingly wrestled matches that ended in ties. Dareese Sparkman also competed and lost in the Third-Team matchup at 113 to Nicholas Cianciola of Central Catholic

March 7th Panther Scoreboard – State Championships

Only a few Perry teams competed this weekend but there were outstanding performances all around as the wrestling team had 6 athletes compete at the individual state tournament, one boy bowler competed individually at the state bowling tournament, and three indoor track and field athletes competed at the OATCCC indoor state championship.

  • Bowling: Junior bowler, Brandon Boykin, finished 33rd place overall out of 199 participants at the OHSAA State Bowling Tournament with games of 184, 236, and 218.
  • Wrestling: David Carr won the 145-pound state championship 8-4 handing Dublin Coffman’s Dominick Demas his first defeat on the season.  Carr, son of first-year Perry coach Nate Carr, also won a state championship at 138 pounds last year in Division III for Dayton Christian. Fellow sophomore wrestler, Zach Blachiston was the only other qualifier to place for the Panthers as he finished 8th at 182 pounds. Other qualifiers included Gary Define, Emil Soehnlen, Logan Lacourt, and Adam Gregoire.  Joe Koontz qualified to compete as well but was unable to wrestle due to injury. The team finished 13th overall.
  • Indoor Track: Senior pole vaulter, Lucas Kelley, repeated as OATCCC Indoor State Champion with a new personal best vault of 16 feet 5 inches bettering his old best by 4 inches. Junior pole vaulter, Macee Erickson, finished 4th with a vault of 12 feet.  Max Baker vaulted 14 feet to finish 12th overall and he was the only sophomore in the field.

  • Boys Basketball – Tournament: Jackson L 48-71 (Wyatt Vega – 19pts, Kyle Blend – 12pts), Overall Record 2-21, League Record 0-12
  • Girls Basketball – Tournament: Hoover L 41-50 (Karlee Pireu – 14pts & 6 rebs), Overall Record 17-7, League Record 7-5
  • Boys Bowling – Brandon Boykin will compete at the State Bowling Tournament on March 4th, Overall Record 11-5, League Record 8-4
  • Boys Swimming & Diving – Keenan Walker finished 16th in Diving at the State Meet to earn All-Ohio status, Overall Record 5-4, League Record 3-3
  • Wrestling – District Tournament: 2nd Place – 7 wrestlers qualified to state(Gary Define, Joe Koontz, David Carr, Emil Soehnlen, Logan Lacourt, Zach Blackiston, and Adam Gregoire), Overall Record 11-1, League Record 6-0

  • Boys Basketball – Will play the winner of Jackson and Akron Garfield on February 27th, Overall Record 2-20, League Record 0-12
  • Girls Basketball – Tournament: Green W 42-38 (Karlee Pireu – 13 pts), Will Play Hoover at Walsh University 2/22, Overall Record 17-6, League Record 7-5
  • Boys Bowling – 12th Place at the District Tournament (Brandon Boykin bowled a 603 series to qualify to State), Overall Record 11-5, League Record 8-4
  • Girls Bowling – 6th Place at the District Tournament, Overall Record 16-0, League Record 12-0
  • Boys Swimming & Diving – District: Keenan Walker finished 4th in Diving to qualify to the state meet.  Xavier Luster just missed qualifying finishing 9th in Diving as well.  Josh Blackiston finished 19th in 200 Freestyle and 22nd in 500 Freestyle. Overall Record 5-4, League Record 3-3
  • Girls Swimming & Diving – District: Grace Porrini finished 16th in Diving for the girls.  Lauren Givins finished 30th in 100 Freestyle and 24th in 100 Backstroke, Overall Record 2-7, League Record 0-6
  • Boys Indoor Track – Lucas Kelly set a new personal best and school record in winning the pole vault at Akron with a vault of 16’1″ which has him ranked #1 in the state rankings and is #9 in the country.  James Roth took 7th in the 200m dash with a time of 23.23
  • Girls Indoor Track – Macee Erickson took 2nd place in pole vault at Akron with a vault of 12 feet
  • Wrestling – Sectional Tournament: 1st Place – 10 wrestlers move on to District (Kyle Gruber, Darese Sparkman, Gary Define, Joe Koontz, David Carr, Emil Soehnlen, Jake Little, Logan Lacourt, Zach Blackiston, and Adam Gregoire), Overall Record 11-1, League Record 6-0
