Volley for the Cure – Tuesday,October 6th

volleyforcurePerry High School’s girls volleyball team will be hosting Volley for the Cure on Tuesday, October 6th  as part of the Perry versus Lake volleyball game.  Events for the evening kick-off at 4:30 PM with a students versus staff volleyball match. All Proceeds from t-shirt sales, 50/50 and basket raffles will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  (more…)

Elementary Wrestling Clinic Grades 1-6: October 20 – 22

AR-140309930The Perry High School wrestling staff and the nationally ranked PHS wrestling team will be hosting an elementary wrestling clinic for beginning wrestlers in grades 1 – 6. The clinic will take place October 20th – October 22nd from 6 – 7 PM in the main gym at Perry High School. Cost for the clinic is $25 which includes awards, tournament entry to be held at the conclusion of the clinic, and a Perry wrestling t-shirt.  Questions can be directed to Danny Genetin through email at:

  • Boys Cross Country – 4th out of 12 teams at the Malone Invitational (Cole Morris finished 8th overall), Overall Record 69-18
  • Girls Cross Country  1st out of 9 teams at the Malone Invitational (Maddy Bartolone finished 9th overall), Overall Record 55-28
  • Football Hoover W 35-14 (Keishaun Sims ran for 278 yards and scored 5 touchdowns including a school record 90 yard TD run), Overall Record 4-1, League Record 1-0
  • Boys Golf – Won match vs Northwest/Massillon/McKinley on 6th card tiebreaker, Green L 156-156 (lost 5th man score), Overall Record 6-3, League Record 2-3

PHS Boys Golf Outing a Success

9223885_origOn Sunday, September 13th, 102 golfers and twelve volunteers enjoyed a beautiful day at Tam O’Shanter Country Club’s Hills course for the PHS Boys Golf Booster Club outing. The outing was a success and the time and support of this event will provide tournament, practice opportunities, uniforms, and meals for our golfers. Thank you to everyone involved.
