Varsity Athletic Results

  • Boys Cross Country – 12th out of 16 teams at the Regional Championship (Cole Morris lead the team with a 20th place finish and just missed out of qualifying to the State Championship by 4 places), Overall Record 124-41, League Record 4-2
  • Girls Cross Country  11th out of 16 teams at the Regional Championship (Maddy Bartolone lead the team with a 35th place finish), Overall Record 86-49, League Record 5-1
  • Football – GlenOak W 29-14 (Keishaun Sims rushed for 253 yards and had 4 touchdowns along with an interception, Mason Brown also tied the school record for the longest field goal at 42 yards set by Ben Karam), Federal League Champions, Team hosts Mansfield Friday for round 1 of the playoffs, Overall Record 8-2, League Record 5-1

Midnight Madness 2015 – November 14th @ 5 PM

Kick off  the 2015-2016 basketball season by attending the second annual Midnight Madness on Saturday, November 14th at Perry High School’s gymnasium. Doors open at 5:00 PM. Join Perry’s varsity coaches, Jeff Couto and Mark Randulic, as they introduce both girls and boys teams 7th grade through varsity.  In addition to meeting the 2015-2016 Panthers and Perry Youth Leagues, come for the games, contests, raffles, trivia, prizes, concessions and more. Canned food donations will be accepted at the door to support Perry Helping Perry.   • Boys Cross Country – 3rd out of 14 teams at the District Championship and qualified to the Regional Championship (Cole Morris and Johnny Stevenson each qualified individually as well), Overall Record 120-30, League Record 4-2
  • Girls Cross Country  4th out of 14 teams at the District Championship and qualified to the Regional Championship (Lexi Echelberry, Maddy Bartolone, and Peyton Clarke all qualified individually as well), Overall Record 81-39, League Record 5-1
  • Football – Jackson W 35-0 (Keishaun Sims and Logan Copeland each had 2 TDs), Overall Record 7-2, League Record 4-1
  • Boys Soccer – Tournament: Jackson L 1-2 OT (Alex Volpe Scored, Kyle Blend had 12 saves), Overall Record 4-9-4, League Record 1-5
  • Girls Soccer – Tournament: Massillon W 7-0 (Leslie Bast 4 goals), Canfield 0-5, Overall Record 7-11-1, League Record 1-5

PHS Boys Golf Team Wraps Up Successful Season

Team BestCongratulations to the PHS boys golf team on their successful 2015 season. The team recently qualified for the District Tournament held at Pine Hills Golf Club in Brunswick. The team posted a score of 319, placing eleventh out of twenty teams.  (more…)

PHS Athletic Leadership Council Selling Spirit Shirts

perryspiritshirtPerry High School Athletic Leadership Council is selling Perry Spirit Shirts for the upcoming football game on Friday, October 30th against Glenoak. The cost of the shirt is $10. Each purchased shirt also includes free admittance to the game versus Glenoak on the 30th.  Shirts will be on sale during lunch hours at each building and are also available at the Perry Athletic Department ticket office.   • Boys Cross Country – 3rd out of 7 teams at the Federal League Championship Meet (Cole Morris finished 6th for 1st Team All-Federal, Johnny Stevenson 10th for 2nd Team, and Joey Fedor 21st for Honorable Mention), Overall Record 109-28, League Record 4-2
  • Girls Cross Country  2nd out of 7 teams at the Federal League Championship Meet (Lexi Echelberry finished 7th for 1st Team All-Federal, Autumn Greco and Elaine Bast 14th and 15th for 2nd Team, Honorable Mention for Peyton Clarke – 18th, Katie Williams – 19th, and Madelyn Bartolone -21st) , Overall Record 71-36, League Record 5-1
  • Football McKinley W 41-0 (Keishaun Sims scored 4 TDs and Tevion Cleveland had 2 TDs – 1st shutout in 6 years), Overall Record 6-2, League Record 3-1
