The Perry High School Athletics Hall of Fame induction ceremony was held at the McKinley Eagles and catered by Mr. Mikes on January 10, 2015.  Emceed by Perry graduate Dan Belford, inductees Bob DiAntonio, Travis Kovach, Doug Lantz, Jeff Lessig, Jim Luke, Steve Luke, Lauren Cline (Muhlbach), Ron Sense, Zach Slates, Shelly Hinkle (Smart), and the 1969 undefeated football team shared tears, cheers, and plenty of laughter.  Perry pride was on full display as over 200 people celebrated at the most attended Hall of Fame banquet to date.

The goal of the Hall of Fame is to build on our sense of community and pull generations of Perry supporters together.  The January banquet featured 1959 graduate Ron Sense.  His stories of the early days of Perry were poignant and heart-felt.   (more…)
