  • Boys Basketball – McKinley L 56-60, Overall Record 7-11, League Record 2-8
  • Girls Basketball – Gilmour Academy W 58-55, Overall Record 10-12, League Record 2-8
  • Boys Bowling – Lake W 2676-2551, Hoover W 2756-2739, Jackson L 2614-2717, Overall Record 13-5, League Record 4-5
  • Girls Bowling – Lake W 2592-2141, Hoover W 2475-2376, Jackson L 2384-2497, Overall Record 16-1, League Record 8-1
  • Gymnastics – Allysa Walter took 1st place all around and Brooke Parish placed 3rd in a 3 point loss to Massillon
  • Boys Swimming/Diving – Keenan Walker and Xavier Luster advanced from the Sectional to the District in diving
  • Girls Swimming/Diving – Maria DeRenzo advanced from the Sectional to the District in diving, Carlie Perretta, Kasie Perretta, and Katie Zuniga advanced in swim events and Lauren Givins joins them in 2 relays. Carlie also set a new school record in the 100 breastroke that is also the Sectional and Stark County record.
  • Indoor Track & Field – Keishaun Sims bettered his own triple jump record to 39 feet 1.5 inches, Maya Consing triple jumped 26 feet and .75 inch as the first girl to ever compete in the event for Perry
  • Wrestling – State Dual Tournament (Marysville W 57-12, Brecksville L 21-27), Overall Record 9-1, League Record 4-0

  • Indoor Track & Field – Keishaun Sims tied the school indoor high jump record (6’2″) and set the indoor triple jump record (38’10.5″), Lucas Kelley took 2nd in pole vault (15’3″)
  • Wrestling – State Dual Tournament (Massillon W 65-6 & Lake W 40-28), Overall Record 8-0, League Record 4-0
  • Wrestling Varsity Gold – 1st Place at Central Catholic Duals (Cullen Kopan, Logan Riley, Seth Brand, Nick Myers, and Adam Gregoire were undefeated)

Vote For Perry Bowlers as Athletes and Teams of the Week

Both the boys and the girls bowling teams are up for Team of the Week at JJHuddle.com.  The girls remain undefeated at 13-0 and picked up wins last week against Alliance and East Canton.  The boys are nominated from having three bowlers roll 400-plus series in the win against East Canton.  Each team also has an individual up for Bowling Athlete of the Week.  The girls are represented by Madison Altimore who had a 432 series against East Canton.  The boys are represented by Mickey Maier who bowled a 299 game and a 530 series against East Canton.  Click the links below to vote.  You can vote as many times as you want for all 4.
