  • Baseball – Stow W 8-4, Dover L 5-3 (Andy Price – 2 hits and 2 RBI), Lake W 6-4 (Kasey Centeno and Bryce Warrick each had a double), Lake W 8-7 (Jaret Holzopfel was the winning pitcher), Newark W 7-2 (Robby Kirchner had 3 hits and scored 2 runs), Overall Record 4-1, League Record 2-0
  • Softball – Lake W 2-0 (Makenna Durieux struck out 6 in the complete-game shutout and Nikki Saibene had 2 hits and a RBI), Hoover W 7-2 (Karlee Pireu had a 3-run HR and Makenna Durieux was the winning pitcher along with having 2 singles and 2 RBI at the plate), Overall Record 2-0, League Record 2-0
  • Boys Tennis – United W 5-0, Overall Record 1-0, League Record 0-0
  • Boys Track – 6th Place at the F.E. Cope Salem Invitational, 6th Place at the North Canton Relays, Overall Record 0-0, League Record 0-0

Two State Champions!

17264985_1460315320679760_5066030247502472402_nPerry has two new wrestling state champions.  Juniors David Carr and Emil Soenhlen both captured state titles in Columbus during the OHSAA state wrestling tournament held March 9-11.  The wrestling team captured 6th place overall with four individuals reaching the podium.  Senior Joe Koontz placed 7th, Junior Zach Blackiston placed 8th, and our two state champions in Juniors David Carr and Emil Soenhlen provided all the scoring for the Panthers. Congratulations to the wrestling team on a fantastic season.

  • Girls Bowling – Finished 11th at the State Tournament (102 from the cut to the Final 8) – Madison Altimore (194, 191, 16), Kassidy Smith (128, 191, 194), Madilynn Morrison (177, 169), Mackenzie Corrin (169, 175), Lindsay Johnston (164), Overall Record 14-1, League Record 11-1
  • Wrestling Finished 6th overall at the Individual State Tournament – David Carr and Emil Soehnlen won individual state championships – Joe Koontz (7th) and Zach Blackiston (8th) also placed, Overall Record 12-1, League Record 6-0

Season ticket sales will begin on Monday, March 13, 2017, and run through Friday, May 12, 2017. Season tickets can be picked up beginning June 1st through  June 15th (M-TH). (more…)

Perry Girls Golf to Host Scramble – May, 21st

golf-ball-on-teeThe Pery Girls Golf team will host a scramble on Sunday, May 21st at The Legends of Massillon. Proceeds will benefit the Perry Girls Golf team. The cost of the scramble is $260 per team or $65 for an individual player. Registration begins at 7:30 AM. The range will open at 8:00 AM. Your entry fee includes golf, cart, lunch at the turn, steak dinner, and much more! Questions can be directed to Joe Whitmer via email, or by calling (330) 412-3496.
