PHS Physics Participating in NASA Program
Perry’s Physics classes will be studying aerodynamics and airplane wing design this year thanks to NASA. Through a program sponsored by NASA Glenn Research Center, Nate Van Wey’s physics classes received $700 worth of equipment to study, design, and build wings and gliders as part of a physics curriculum which focuses on aerodynamics. NASA Glenn is an international leader in airplane wing design and testing. Nate’s participation in a NASA summer program made his classes eligible to apply for a grant to receive these teaching tools.
