Todd Sutton – Perry's New Athletic Director

Perry Superintendent Dr. John Richard will be recommending Todd Sutton as Athletic Director at the March 23rd Board of Education Meeting. Todd comes to Perry from Plain Local where he has experience as an Athletic Director, Director of Plain’s Transitions Academy, and assistant principal. Dr. Richard states, “Todd has an enthusiasm and passion for this position that is “catching” and is already extremely knowledgeable of our schools and athletic programs.” Mr. Sutton will be introduced to the Perry coaching staff at their athletic council meeting this evening. Todd will not be present but is anxious to meet each of the Perry coaches in person. “A passion for athletics while achieving academically is something that I have believed in and maintained throughout my teaching, coaching and administrative career,” proclaims Sutton. “I have had the opportunity to watch the Perry Local Schools as a rival and have always admired the pride and traditions of your program and community. It would be an honor to be a part of that tradition,” he adds.
