Friday August 12th – Adults – At Classmates Large Private Property / Lake / Pool / Grounds
Adults only event at a classmate’s great property that can host all of us. Tons of simple fun, pool available, games, fishing, hang out, enjoy… RSVP so we can have a head count for pizza etc. Low per person cost for food and bring your own drinks. Afternoon until late night. You can camp outside here or make arrangements to safely get back to house/hotel if you need to. The exact location will come to you privately as we want to keep the classmates large property private to the public but open to all classmates and their dates for the Friday event. Should be great! Bring Games and make sure to RSVP on Facebook page (https://goo.gl/GwQ6Zv).
Saturday, August 13 – Adults & Kids – Clay’s Park
Adults & kids welcome to meet at Clay’s Park. This is designed to have even more fun and reconnect, while also bringing your kids out if you desire. You can do as much or as little as you want at the Park for this event. Design your activities at the park to you or your families desire and budget. The only fee our class will charge is if we have enough people RSVP soon enough then we could rent a pavilion and have a meal catered if there is enough interest/funds. This is a great local park with pavilions, water park and more. Clay’s Park will also be offering Mardi Gras-themed music and events this weekend. You can arrange to camp if you want, go to the park, etc. or just come to hang out and have very little cost to you. RSVP so we get a count of adults and kids to offer more options.
Football game in the Fall to be announced later.
Please share this post with as many classmates as you can and post on your FB wall also. RSVP by responding to this post on our Class of 1996 Facebook page or send a private message.
These events will be a great way to have a great time catching up, they are simple and designed to be affordable for most everyone – with options to do more if you want.
We will continue updating this post with more information and get the word out in whatever ways possible.
P.S. We thought it would be great to take donations all through the weekend towards a scholarship sponsored by our class in memory of Jeff Roby. We tried to do this for the sweet 16 reunion but did not raise enough to make it happen; perhaps we could make it happen this time. Share and Post and Tag all. Get ready for a great weekend.
