Music classes at Reedurban and T.C. Knapp are starting the year with an extra dose of excitement. Thanks to funding by the respective parent organizations, the students walked in to see classroom guitars hanging on the music room wall. “Whoa!” “Awesome!” “Are WE going to play THOSE?” was heard from students all week long as they came to music for the first time. We are taking this opportunity to provide some information regarding the changes to Reedurban Elementary School this year.
First, I would like to take this opportunity to share my background in education before coming to Reedurban Elementary as principal. My love of children has led to a career in education over the last ten years. I have been fortunate to have served in all elementary grade levels in either general or special education settings. The last four years have been spent in the Perry Local School District as an intervention specialist. While at Perry I have enjoyed getting to know and working with both the children and the community. The opportunity to serve as the Reedurban Elementary Principal is an honor and privilege.

We are pleased to announce that with the help of the high school staff “Jeans Day” fundraiser and a donation from the class of 2010, a new 20 foot tall inflatable panther will be “on the prowl” spreading Perry Pride near and far.
You never know where this new addition to the Perry family will show up to inspire our community. Imagine it in the end zone at a football game as the team runs out, the finish line of a cross-country meet, or inside a gymnasium for a pep rally. Wherever it will be, rest assured that Panther Pride will fill the air!
