Congratulations to the members of the Perry High School Concert Band and Symphonic Winds for another successful contest weekend. Both groups earned Superior ratings and will be headed to OMEA State Contest for the 7th year in a row.

Join area principals and other school officials for questions, answers, and suggestions of materials to help make sure your child is ready for kindergarten. The Kindergarten Ready or Not Program will be held on Thursday, March 9th from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the Perry Sippo Branch Library.
The State Support Team Region 9 will be holding a conference for families and educators of diverse learners on Saturday, April 8th from 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM at the R.G. Drage Career Technical Center. Several Perry schools will be hosting a Girls on the Run program this coming spring. Girls on the Run is a program that aims to inspire girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained coaches lead small teams through our research-based curricula which includes dynamic discussions, activities, and running games. Over the course of the 10-week program, girls in 3rd through 8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. (more…)
