Freshman Girls Basketball – Federal League Champs

Perry’s Freshman Girls Basketball Team earned the Federal League Champion Title Saturday February 13, 2010 after a hard fought battle against the Jackson Polar Bears. The final score of the championship game was 35 to 28. The Panthers, led by Coach Mike White and his assistant Vicky Walker, started the season with two loses. But, with hard work, determination, and commitment to succeed the freshman went on a 15 game winning streak ending the season with a record of 15-2. A special congratulations goes out to Cataya, Becca, Allison, Kayla, Tianna, Taylor, Bri, Marwah, Kelly, Marissa, Olivia and the freshman coaches. You make Perry proud!

Happy Valentines Day

Maguire Taush, Reedurban fifth grader in Mrs. Marshal’s class, shows off his Valentines Day card box that he made into a replica of the Reedurban School building. He included pictures of the staff in each window. By the end of the class party, the replica was filled to the roof with special valentines from all of Maguire’s classmates. Happy Valentines Day from Perry Local Schools!

Capuano Signs With Wright State

Congratulations Angelo Capuano! Angelo signed a National Letter of Intent Wednesday, February 3rd, to play soccer for Wright State University, a Division I program in Fairborn, Ohio. He is a senior at PHS and the son of Melanie and Richard Capuano of Massillon, Ohio.

Winter Homecoming Queen and King

Miss Tiffany Adkins and Mr. Aaron Perez-Strohmeyer are the Perry High School 2010 Winter Homecoming Queen and King.

Miss Adkins was crowned by Miss Nicole Fano, 2009 Winter Homecoming Queen, and Mr. Perez-Strohmeyer was crowned by Mr. Eric Atkinson, 2009 Winter Homecoming King Saturday, January 23, 2010, at the Perry-Central Catholic boys basketball game at Perry High School.

PHS Mock Trial Team
