All Elementary Schools: August 17th from 5:30-6:30pm
Pfeiffer Intermediate School: August 18th from 6:30-7:30pm
Edison Middle School: August 17th from 6:30-7:30pm

Volleyball Tryout Information

volleyballVolleyball tryouts for Freshman, JV and Varsity teams will be August 1st from 9am to 11am at Perry High School. Volleyball tryouts for 8th graders will be August 3rd-5th from 8am to 10am at Edison Middle School.  Volleyball tryouts for 7th graders will be August 3rd-5th from 10am to noon at Edison Middle School.

Perry Bands Selected for Conference Performances

Congratulations to the members of the Perry Symphonic Winds and the Edison 8th Grade Band for being invited to perform at the 2015 Ohio Band Directors Conference at The University of Akron.  The performance will take place on December 5th.  Details will be available as soon as we have more information!

Yearbooks On Sale Through June 18th

POSTER2Edison yearbooks are available for purchase in the Edison office for $27 through Thursday, June 18th. Edison’s office will be open from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM Mondays through Thursdays. Checks can be made payable to Edison Middle School.

Edison Student Artwork Available for Pick Up

Thanks to all who supported our first ever Artome Art Show.  Student artwork has arrived back to the school and can be picked up by students in the main office by 3:00 PM on Friday, June 5th.  Any 7th grade students returning to Edison in the fall as 8th graders are also welcome to get their artwork then.  Thank you!

Edison Students Win Poetry Contest

imageCongratulations to  Ellis McGee and Jacob Messman for being  selected as winners of the Stark County District Library’s Annual Youth Poetry Contest.  Winners were invited to attend the Youth Poetry Café to pick up prizes, a copy of the poetry book, and participate in an open mic night poetry reading. Way to go!
