Perry Local Schools One2One Program

Perry Local Schools is excited to announce a new One2One computer program that will provide technology to create a personalized learning environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking for all learners.

Each student in grades 9-12 will be issued a Toshiba Laptop and case at the beginning of the 2017-18 school year, at no cost to the student/parent unless they choose to purchase optional insurance. Students/Parents may pick up his/her device at Perry High School during class schedule pick up days.  Students/Parents will be required to read the Student/Parent Laptop Handbook and bring signed copies of the forms below before a laptop can be issued.  (more…)

Middle School Cheer Car Wash

The Middle School Cheer Squad will hold a car wash at Family Video on the corner of Genoa and Tuscarawas from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 8th. Please come out and support the cheerleaders.

Edison Announces 4Q Grading Period Honor and Merit Rolls

honor_rollEdison Middle School is proud to announce students qualifying for the fourth quarter honor roll and merit roll. To be listed on the honor roll, a student must have a 3.5 – 4.00 grade-point average. To be listed on the merit roll, a student must have a 3.00 – 3.49 grade-point average. Congratulations to all students who earned this academic recognition.

Edison Cross Country Sign-Ups for 2017-2018

Edison’s Cross Country team is looking for you! Who wants to run for fun, you ask? Basketball players who are trying to make or keep their spot in the starting 5; wrestlers who want to increase their stamina and cut weight; cheerleaders and gymnasts who want to stay in shape and increase their flexibility; runners who want to drop time; Girls on the Run; the person in the crowd who wants to make friends; the student next to you who wants to challenge themselves; your friend who has never competed in a sport; CROSS COUNTRY IS FOR EVERYONE!

Free Breakfast and Lunch for Kids 18 & Under – June 5 through August 4 (M-F)

summer meal programThis year when schools let out, Perry Local Schools Summer Food Program will offer free nutritious meals to ALL children, 18 years and under,  at Genoa Elementary,  519 Genoa Rd SW, Massillon.   No paperwork, no enrollment, no registration is needed. Just come and join us!

Meals will be served June 5th through August 4th Monday through Friday.  Breakfast will be served from  7:00 AM -8:00 AM (M-F). Lunch will be served from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM (M-F).

Edison Awards Programs

Edison’s End of Year Awards Programs will be held on Tuesday, May 30th. 7th Grade will begin at 8:30 AM and 8th Grade will begin at 10:15 AM. Family members are more than welcome to join us in celebrating this year’s accomplishments. Listed below are the various awards that will be given:
