District Wide Hat Day – Friday, March 27th

https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTZtgYTZPgd3n0h66ksd-3pfiQJQaMWLXoEoApZstD3AyfIHEYzDgJoin us on Friday, March 27th for a district wide hat day! All of Perry Local Schools will be participating in Perry’s Hat Day for just $1.00. Students and staff can wear a baseball hat, a beret, a cowboy hat, or any kind of crazy hat! All the money raised will go to the Perry Athletic Hall of Fame. The school that raises the most money will get to choose what non-profit organization the money will go to the following year, along with bragging rights!

 

 

Update: Edison Testing Schedule

Due to the cancellation of school today, February 24th, Edison will administer the final day of the 8th Grade PARCC ELA test on Wednesday, February 25th. We will move forward with the modified testing schedule that was announced on Monday. A recap is below:  (more…)

No School Tuesday, February 24th, 2015

school closedPerry Local Schools will be closed Tuesday, February 24th due to extreme cold temperatures.  Parents/Guardians and students involved in PHS extracurricular activities should check district websites and media outlets for the status of extracurricular events on days when schools are closed.  All extracurricular activities (practices, games, and after school activities) for Perry’s elementary buildings, Pfeiffer Intermediate School, and Edison Middle School are cancelled for the day when Perry Local Schools are closed. Y­Care is closed when Perry Local Schools close for the day. Childcare through the YMCA is offered at the Massillon YMCA, Meyers Lake YMCA, and the Navarre Towpath YMCA when schools are closed.

March 23rd Delayed Start Canceled

The two hour delayed start, originally scheduled for March 23rd, has been canceled. All of Perry’s buildings will operate on a regular schedule for Monday, March 23rd.

There is nothing more rewarding than sharing your child’s school experience with them.  What better way than to become a member of the Edison Parent Support Group. This group is involved in many fun things to support the kids. Come find out what you are missing and how you can be a part of  such a rewarding experience. Our next scheduled meeting will be held at Edison on Thursday, March 5th at 6:30 PM.
