Are all of your friends in the PHSMB and you are not? Want to come to all of the football games and be a part of the fun? Interested in performing with a state finalist marching band? Want to enjoy it all AND earn your PHS phys ed credit?
No previous experience needed…we will teach you! We welcome students currently in grades 8-11 to participate.
If your child was present for all state testing days, he/she will qualify for early dismissal on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:30am. In order to qualify, students must do the following:
- Have been present for all state testing days
- Turn in this signed permission form by Wednesday, March 25th
- Make prior arrangements for transportation to pick up at 11:30am on Friday, March 27th
Congratulations to Ross Breitmeier and Kayla Burlingame. Ross received 2nd place in all of Ohio for his Youth Art Month flag design entry and Kayla received 3rd place for her graphic arts entry! They were recently honored, along with the other state winners, at a reception in Columbus where their work will be displayed until the end of March. We are so proud of your outstanding accomplishments!
Edison’s Homework Assist is canceled for Thursday, March 19th. Homework Assist will resume on Tuesday, March 24th.
Congratulations to our 7th grade math team. Under the direction of coach Megan Drumm, the math team recently competed in the Stark County Math Tournament and had 10 team members place in the following categories: (more…)

Edison Middle School is sponsoring a blood drive.If you would kindly help by donating not only will you help save lives, but our school will also receive a fundraising grant. The Blood Drive will be open at Edison from 9:30am-1:30pm on March 18th. Please be sure to bring a photo ID. Thank you for your help!
