Edison students had their artwork chosen by Akron Children’s Hospital as part of an upcoming display. The work was obtained from the students to become part of the permanent collection to be showcased at either the main hospital or the new Perry building in affiliation with Akron Children’s.

Edison Middle School is proud to announce an $1100 donation to the Daniel J. Patron Memorial Scholarship fund. Students were able to purchase red, white, and blue chain links in Academic Assist (AA) to commemorate Veterans’ Day. Congratulations to Mrs. Budd’s AA (pictured) for raising the most money.
The scholarship was established in honor of the sacrifice of United States Marine Corps Sgt. Daniel J. Patron, a 2003 graduate of Perry High School. Danny gave his life in August of 2011 defending the freedom of others. He served with distinction, exemplifying courage and honor as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal specialist diffusing road-side bombs in Afghanistan.
The Perry Local School District would like to thank the Perry Township Voters for their faith in the mission and vision of Perry Local Schools. Tuesday, November 5th, voters turned out to renew the Perry Local Schools levy. Superintendent Marty Bowe says ” We want to assure you that we will continue to be as frugal as possible with your tax dollars, while still providing our Perry kids the first class education they deserve. Your support of our schools is what makes it possible to prepare our next generation for success, and to move the entire Perry community forward. Thank you!”
