Perry Edison Wrestling Wins State Championship

EdisonWrestlingThe Perry Edison Wrestling Team competed at the OAC State Duals Tournament on Sunday February 23rd.   When the dust settled, the team had captured Perry’s First Jr. High State Championship.  The team went 5 and 0 on the day by  the following scores: (more…)

Kids Giving Back

IMG_20140214_112609_389Logan M. Janson is so excited and proud to have  collected all of these pop tabs on his own to donate to Akron Children’s Hospital.  He wanted to give back because they helped him after he was in an accident in 4th grade.

Attendance Challenge – Week Ending February 14th

EMS began its second round of the Perfect Attendance Challenge. This week the following first time homeroom award winners are: Mrs. Patron 216, Mr. Schultz 204, Mrs. Steele 116, Mrs. Vensil 118 and Mrs. Jones/Broardwater 203. Congratulations! Students and teachers from these homerooms will be allowed to wear pajamas to school on Tuesday!

Second time award winners are: Mrs Hildebrand 208 and Mrs. Parnacott 102. They are awarded with fake mustaches and a Pajama Day on Tuesday!

Urgent Notice: 8th Grade Trip Final Payment

If your child is not paid in full, he/she could be eliminated from the trip and we are past the refund deadline.  Please make all final payments by Friday, February 14th.  Thank you!

Edison Students Help Stark County Humane Society

IMG_20131207_134758_1347th graders Paige Curry and Kelsie Everitt took advantage of the recent loom band craze to help make a difference in the community.  Kelsie and Paige made various rubber band bracelets which they sold for $.50 – $1 depending on the style.  These young ladies generously donated the $50 they raised to the Stark County Humane Society where they also volunteered. Well done!
