Fitness for Life – The Challenge

Fitness ChallengeEdison’s physical education department had the students in Fitness For Life classes participate in a fitness challenge. The students enjoy coming in to tell us what they did to stay active the night before, so we figured we would put a challenge together and keep track of all their hard work.  They logged their exercise outside of the school day on a poster in the gym as they walk out of the locker room for attendance.  The challenge lasted about three weeks.  It was their responsibility to log their points on a daily basis.  It was so awesome to watch them come in the gym and go right over to the poster to write down that they did the night before. They seemed both excited and proud!  The main goal was to encourage them to find something they enjoy doing to stay active outside of school.  We were very proud of all that participated in the challenge!
Class Winners: Makenna Wood, Sierra Davis, Katelyn Hileman, Kennedy Thomas, Christian McLain, Macy Nashold, Hannah Ftorek, Zak Searfoss, Josiah Bracken, Emma Blogna, Brystal Borck, Abby Marchand
Overall Winner:  Brystal Borck
