Athletic Physicals Offered Friday May 18th

Affinity Medical Center will offer a complete physical that meets the
requirements of the Ohio High School Athletic Association for participating in
athletic sports. The physical is good for one calendar year. You must have the
completed 2012-2013 Athletic Packet and the 2012 Spring Affinity Physical
Packet in order to receive a physical. Click here for the packet. The cost is $10.00. Checks can be made payable to Perry Adult Booster Club. You can pick-up a packet at the office or
print one out from the Athletic web page. The date of the physical is Friday May
18th at Perry High School starting at 2:20 pm in the Athletic Lobby. Enter through
Door 4. Please note that athletes participating in a sporting event on May 18th
will automatically go to the front of the line.

Powder Puff Game Huge Success

Thank you to everyone that came out to support our girls last night in the 8th Annual Powder Puff Football game. Congratulations to Junior Head Coach Nate Jenkins and Assistant Coaches Chad Pfeiffer and Larry Mizer who led their team to a 22-0 win over the Senior girls.

Thank you to the many volunteers that help make this game possible every year. The volunteers this year were Scott Daugherty, Jim Ziegler, Tony Carr, Bob Kilpatrick, Nate Van Wey, Lea Daut, Deb Warstler, Carrie Daily, Eric Spaulding, Cassie and Andrew Elliott, Chris Meiser, Joe Clarke, Kim and Roberta Lentz, Josiah Bracken, Lori Howenstine, Catherine Catlett, Joy Minor, and Brad Fox.

Thank you to Dr. Richard, Don Gregoire, Jason Conrad and Bill Hildebrand for coming out in the rain to support our Junior and Senior girls.

If you would still like to donate to the Sgt. Daniel J. Patron Memorial Scholarship fund, there is still time to do so. Please send your donations to the attention of Hope Lentz at the High School by next Friday.

Pfeiffer Receives “New” Playground Equipment

During Spring break, the playground equipment that was previously used at Reedurban Elementary School was relocated to Pfieffer Intermediate School. The students love being able to enjoy this equipment! Pfeiffer would like to thank all of the parents from Reedurban, as well as the district, who helped in giving this equipment a new home.

Bench Dedication for Sgt. Patron

Typical Peer Preschool Screening

A screening for preschool-age children who are typically developing and are eligible for preschool enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10th at T. C. Knapp Elementary. Children must turn 3 years old before *AUGUST 1st (*NEW entrance date). Children must demonstrate age-appropriate speech/language skills, play skills, social skills, and behavior to be considered for enrollment. All typical peers must be reliably toilet-trained before classes begin in August. If your child meets these criteria and you are interested in scheduling a screening appointment, please contact Tammy Cardinal at 330-478-6187.
