The Perry Rotary and Perry Local Schools will be sponsoring a food drive for Perry Helping Perry at the Football Game Friday night, August 31, 2018 against cross-town rival Central Catholic. Bring a non-perishable item to the Rotary Booth and/or make a financial donation to Perry Helping Perry and you’ll receive a ticket for a free treat from Sweet T’s Café, redeemable in the Career & Wellness Center. Waikem Dealerships and Falcone’s Restaurant serve as non-perishable collection sites year-round. Purchases from the food vendors will benefit the Perry Helping Perry food pantry. Let’s kickoff the new year with a celebration! Everyone is invited to a pre-game celebration Friday, August 24th, 2018. There will be food trucks, a live DJ and more. Bring the whole family from 5-7pm and then stay as the Panthers take on the Royal Imperial Academy football team from Canada to open the 2018 football season.
It is important at the end of the day that someone is at the bus stop to receive their student(s) as they get off the bus. For safety reasons, our bus drivers will not release students from the bus without an adult (parent, grandparent, babysitter or older brother and sister) present. If no one is available to get your child, they will be returned to the school. This could lead to your child losing bus priviledges for several days or the entire school year. Thank you for your understanding as safety is our top priority in the district.
Open house for all Perry Local elementary schools will be Thursday, August 16th from 5:30-6:30pm. Class and Teacher lists will be posted on August 10th after 4pm. All school supply lists are posted on the school’s website. Bus list will be postcards mailed to homes the week of August 14th. If there are any changes to student pick up or drop off, please call the bus garage as soon as possible so your student has the most up to date information in their record for routing.
