Perry Baseball Youth Clinic – Sunday, March 13th

Main Logo PThe Perry baseball staff and players will hold a youth clinic for players, including girls, ages 8 – 14 on Sunday, March 13th at Perry High School. Session 1 will concentrate on offense and run from 9 AM – 11 AM. Session 2 will be held from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM with lunch provided for campers who sign up for both sessions. The cost to attend one session of your choice is $30 per player with no lunch provided. Two sessions, including lunch, is $50. There is an immediate family member discount. (more…)

SPARK Program Prepares Kids and Families

SPARK is a family-focused kindergarten-readiness program that works collaboratively with families, schools, and the community. Each month, children receive a new book, a lesson activity, and educational supplies, and participate in a home- or group-based learning opportunities—all with the goal of increasing the child’s success in school and life. Parent-Teacher conferences will be on Tuesday, February 9th (5p – 8p) and Thursday, February 11th (5p – 8p). Students do not have classes on Monday, February 15th.

Autism Certification Center – Autism Spectrum Disorder Strategies in Action

Attention families and educators! Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Strategies in Action, gives families, and service providers tools to ensure they are equipped to care adequately for, support educate, employ or work with individuals on the autism spectrum from early childhood to young adulthood. These modules are offered through the Autism Certification Center, which provides professional development hours and certificate(s). Those who work and reside in Ohio receive a free yearly subscription. This project is funded through a joint state agency collaborative.

D.A.R.E. Sponsoring Skate Party – Friday, January 15th

DARE4Join your Perry friends and classmates for a D.A.R.E. sponsored skate party on Friday, January 15th at the North Canton Skate Center (map) from 10 AM – 1 PM. The cost to participate is $6 which includes skate/rollerblade rental. Speed skates are $1.50 extra. Additional activities are laser tag, rock wall, bumper cars, euro bungee, and 30 new video games. Pricing for other activities is $12 for a two-hour unlimited pass or $15 for a three-hour unlimited pass. Click here for an event flyer.
