Glitter Ball – Friday, February 21st @ 6:00 PM

downloadAttention T.C. Knapp girls! Join us on Friday, February 21st at 6:00 PM for an evening of dancing with your dad, grandpa, or other special man in your life for T.C. Knapp’s Glitter Ball. Snacks will be served throughout the evening to keep your energy level up. Guests will also be able to enjoy a chocolate fountain!
Admission is free for Knapp female students and their special guest.  Pictures will be available for purchase from $5-$10 depending on the package that you pick.  Corsages are available for purchase as well. The deadline to return the form is Tuesday, February 18th.
For those who signed up to bring a snack, please plan on dropping it off on Friday (2/21) during school hours if possible.

Knapp Valentine’s Day Parties – Friday, February 14th

valentines-heartKnapp students will be enjoying their Valentine’s Day Party on Friday, February 14th from 2:40-3:20pm.
Morning Preschool will have their party from 10:40-11:30am. The afternoon Preschool party is from 2:40-3:20 pm.

Thank you for everyone who has sent in treats or is helping with the parties.

PHS Passport to France Now Accepting Registrations

 passportPHS Passport to France registration is now open to 4th, 5th and 6th graders! There is still room for more  Perry 4th, 5th or 6th grade students to join us on Friday, February 28th from 5:30-9:00 pm. Students will travel from room to room completing French-inspired activities like:  French food, French music & dance and French games!

D.A.R.E. Skate Party – Monday, February 17th

dare_pictD.A.R.E. will sponsor a skate party on Monday, February 17th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the North Canton Skate Center. The cost to participate is $5.75 which includes skate/roller blade rental. Speed skates are $1.50 extra.  *New activities are laser tag, rock-wall, bumper cars, euro bungee, and 30 new video games. *Pricing for additional activities is $5.75 per activity or $20.00 for an unlimited bracelet.

Gifted Arts Identification Update

giftedtalentedDue to the numerous snow/cold days, the DUE date for Gifted Arts Identification Permission Forms has been extended to February 3, 2014!   
 
Additionally, Visual Arts Portfolio Interviews for grades K-5 will be now be held February 11th & 13th during Conferences at Pfeiffer Intermediate school.  
PLEASE NOTE:  Due to a conflict the music auditions will be held February 13th during Conference times and February 20th from 3:15 – 6:00 PM.  If the time we assign conflicts with a scheduled academic conference please contact Vickie Briercheck at Pfeiffer Intermediate School 330-478-6163.  We will do everything we can to accommodate schedule conflicts.   If you have questions regarding preparations please consult with your child’s art or music teacher.

Kindergarten: Ready or Not 2014 Program – February 27th

kndreadyornotThe Stark County District Library and the Perry Sippo Branch Library are pleased to announce the Kindergarten: Ready or Not 2014 Program on Thursday, February 27th from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. Adults and incoming kindergarten students can join principals and school officials for questions, answers, and recommendation of materials. While the adults learn children will be entertained with stories, songs, and crafts. Register online or by phone by calling (330) 477-8482.

Mother/Son “Game Night”- Thursday, January 30th

gamenightThe PAKT Mother/Son “Game Night” set for Thursday, January 30th from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM will be held as scheduled.

PAKT  has planned to have a fun-filled night with our T.C. Knapp boys and their moms.  This is a free event for Knapp students and the adult guest. Come enjoy an evening of games such as Twister, Sorry, Wii, Bingo, Uno, Yatzee, Jenga, Battleship, Candyland and more!   Pizza, chips, and ice cream sundaes will be served.

Additionally, raffle tickets will be available for a 40 inch roaring stuffed panther. Tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5.
