Attention ladies in 3rd through the 6th grade: Do you like having fun? Are you looking for ways to make new friends? Do you want to learn how to be healthy and strong? In March, Girls on the Run is coming toPerry! All Perry girls in 3rd through 6th grade are invited to join a team of Girls on the Run (GOTR) every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30p – 7:00p at Pfeiffer beginning on Tuesday, September 6th through Saturday, November 12th. This is an exciting opportunity you won’t want to miss. Registration has been extended to midnight on September 9th. Perry Aquatic Club (PAC) is a year-round competitive USA Swimming program. PAC offers guided instruction in competitive swimming for ages 5 and up. We offer training groups for swimmers just entering from swim lessons to the most competitive and skilled swimmers. As a member of PAC, athletes will be coached with an emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork. Click here for registration and more information.
The Perry Football Boosters will be selling 2016 Perry roster t-shirts. Shirts have the image to the right on the front and the roster of the 2016 Perry Panthers on the back. The Perry High School Cheerleaders will be holding a fall cheerleading clinic for Perry’s K-6 students on Saturday, August 27th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Pfeiffer Intermediate School. Participants will learn the basic fundamentals of cheering, stretching, and complete a craft. Cheerleaders will also learn one dance routine, five chants, and one cheer to use at the September 2nd football game versus Central Catholic. The cost of the clinic is $40 with checks made payable to Perry Adult Booster Club CHEER. The Rotary of Perry Township, in cooperation with Members of Perry Local Schools, encourage you to pledge your support to the Angelyna Callahan ~ Cancer Fund.
On May 5th, 2016 fifteen (15) year old Angelyna Callahan was diagnosed with stage four (4 ) cancer. Before that, she had always been a happy, healthy young girl. Angelyna has completed phase 1 of 7 chemo treatments. June 1st was the first day of her second round of chemo. (more…)
The Perry Boys basketball program will be holding a skills camp June 13 – 15 in the main gym at Perry High School. Camp for boys entering grades 2 – 5 will be held from 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM.
