Lunch Wednesday, May 28th: Bosco Cheese Sticks or Grilled Chicken Sandwich or Chicken Patty Sandwich, California Blend, Marinara Sauce, Lettuce/Tomato, Fruit
Lunch Thursday, May 29th: Calzone or Hot dog, french fries, corn, fruit
Breakfast Week of May 27th: Choice of two breakfast items each day, fruit or juice
The Perry Girls Youth Basketball Camp dates and locations have been announced. The camp will take place at the Edison Middle School Gymnasium from June 2nd through June 5th. Girls entering grades 3-5 will participate from 9:00am-11:30am. Girls entering grades 6-8 will participate from 12:30pm-3:00pm.

On Wednesday, May 14th, over 50 athletes from the Perry Local Elementary Schools competed in the annual 4th grade track meet. After much great competition and school spirit, Lohr Elementary repeated as Elementary Track Champions. Lohr took the crown with an overall score of 102 points with Watson Elementary coming in 2nd with 84 points. The events were the 100m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash, 4X100m relay, long jump, and the softball throw.
Perry Local Schools is offering a second session of summer math camp for current Perry 4th grade students June 23rd through July 3rd. The Spark Camp will give students entering 5th grade at Pfeiffer enriching lessons taught by a fifth grade math teacher. Lessons will spark growth and longevity in their math skills over the summer. These lessons cover the high-frequency standards they will learn in fifth grade at Pfeiffer. Create a successful and fun start to your student’s fifth grade year!
The camp will be held at Pfeiffer Intermediate School from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM June 23rd – July 3rd Monday through Thursday. Camp will not be in session on Friday, June 27th. Bring your kids and neighbors to Safety Day at Edison Middle School, Saturday May 3rd from 9 AM – 12 PM. Interact with the Perry Police, Perry Fire Department, the Sheriff’s office, YMCA, Stark Parks, climb in the Akron Care Bear Helicopter and much more! There will be face-painting, popcorn and activities for the kids. This event is totally FREE!
