“Believe” Light Show

This video is of the light show that senior Austin Tyler designed for our "Believe" concert on December 4 and 5. The scene you see is actually on OUR STAGE here in the theatre! And the trees and accompanying scenery were donated by students for use at the concert. The "house" in the video was built by Jack Everetts. Bill Schnierle and Jonny Pappas also spent hours lighting the set with a whole slew of students! The video was taken at our Monday, December 5 concert and is unedited, but it's still a great view. And that isn't recorded music being used--that's our live pit orchestra playing along! Thought you might be able to use this for the news or something tomorrow. It's definitely viewed better with the lights off!

PHS Holiday Choral Concert Adds Second Date

It’s that time again–time for our annual holiday choral concert!  In addition to performances from the Pipers, Treblemakers, Kinsmen, Lyrics and Bel Canto choirs, the Symphonic Choir will join our own Louie Mattachione in a touching re-telling of the holiday classic, “The Polar Express”.  Children are encouraged to attend wearing their pajamas, robes and slippers and they’ll be greeted by our own choir elves and our Polar Express “conductor”.  Surprises are in store for one and all as the “train” heads to the North Pole for an afternoon of Christmas fun!  Following the concert, all are invited to join us in the dining car (the PHS cafeteria!) for the requisite hot chocolate and cookies…and maybe even a special visitor!
