Pfeiffer Intermediate Resumes Classes

This afternoon, Wednesday, November 1st, the Perry Fire Department and Perry Police were called to Pfeiffer Intermediate School for a smoking outlet in the cafeteria. Students and staff were evacuated from the building in a safe and timely manner.  Once attendance was taken students and staff moved to the gym at Edison Middle School. After approximately thirty minutes authorities gave an all clear for students and staff to return to the building to resume the school day.

The safety of students and staff is the number one priority of Perry Local Schools. We appreciate the cooperation with the Perry Police, Perry Fire Department, and other local authorities to ensure this safety on a daily basis.
