The Perry High School Cheerleaders will be holding a fall cheerleading clinic for Perry’s K-6 students on Saturday, August 27th from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Pfeiffer Intermediate School. Participants will learn the basic fundamentals of cheering, stretching, and complete a craft. Cheerleaders will also learn one dance routine, five chants, and one cheer to use at the September 2nd football game versus Central Catholic. Help support the Perry football program by attending the Thursday, August 11th fundraiser at the Nut House Saloon (map) from 4 PM – 11 PM. Basket raffle tickets will be available for purchase. A portion (15%) of the proceeds will be donated directly to the Perry Football Booster Club to help continue their support of the Perry football program.
The Perry High School volleyball program will hold the Perry Youth Volleyball Clinic from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 28th and Friday, July 29th. The Rotary of Perry Township, in cooperation with Members of Perry Local Schools, encourage you to pledge your support to the Angelyna Callahan ~ Cancer Fund.
On May 5th, 2016 fifteen (15) year old Angelyna Callahan was diagnosed with stage four (4 ) cancer. Before that, she had always been a happy, healthy young girl. Angelyna has completed phase 1 of 7 chemo treatments. June 1st was the first day of her second round of chemo. (more…)

Perry High School has been chosen to host a teaching assistant from Japan for the 2016-2017 school year. We are one of only ten schools in the country awarded this opportunity. The young lady coming to Perry is a graduate of Tokyo University and will co-teach Japanese at the high school with Deana Kramer. Our teaching assistant will be in Perry for up to two years learning to teach a foreign language and helping the Japanese classes. We also plan to get her involved in the community and other schools in the district and help build connections between Perry and Japan. (more…)
