Perry Speech & Debate Chipotle Fundraiser Nov. 17th 5p – 8p

Come into the Chipotle at 4130 Tuscarawas St in Canton on Tuesday, November 17th between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Bring in this flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you’re supporting the cause to make sure that 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Perry Speech and Debate.

Perry Pipers to Perform at Benefit Concert November 15th

On Sunday, November 15, at 2:00 p.m., the Perry Pipers will perform a concert at Massillon’s Lions Lincoln Theatre benefiting Community Hospice of Stark County.  The Glee Concert is an annual event and this year’s featured choirs include the Massillon Washington Washingtonians, Dalton Choralation and Canton South Sound of South, in addition to our Pipers.  Tickets are $10 each and available from Mrs. Polen (, any Perry Piper or at the door.  Enjoy a fun afternoon of music at the Lions Lincoln Theatre!

Perry Rotary Basketball Preview – Friday, November 20th

Pfeiffer Perry Rotary Basketball preview will be held at Perry High School  on Friday, November 20th at 6:00 PM.  Tickets will be sold at the door, $6 for adults and $5 for students. PHS Band Fundraiser @ Pandora in Belden Village Mall

Make a purchase at the Pandora store and Perry Bands will receive 10% of the total sales. Print and bring the flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you are supporting Perry Bands to make sure that 10% of the total sales will be donated to the band program. Perry Speech & Debate Earn Top Honors

Congratulations to the Perry Speech and Debate Team on taking top honors at the 55th Perry Rotary Speech and Debate Tournament held the weekend of October 30, 2015.  Perry won first-place sweepstakes honors finishing ahead of all 34 schools in attendance.  Individual champions who took home a Perry Champion chair were Shannon Howley and Alexis Hendershot in Policy Debate;  Katy Krepp in United States Extemp; and Ethan Peterson in Dramatic Interp. PHS Marching Band Earns Superior Rating at 2015 OMEA State Finals

phsbandCongratulations to the members of the Perry High School Marching Band on capping their season with a Superior rating at the OMEA Marching Band State Finals!  This is the band’s 3rd consecutive State Superior rating, and their 12th consecutive Superior rating dating back to 2012.  The band closed out their marching season, earning a Superior rating at every competition they entered this year, and won awards for Best Music, Best General Effect, Best Auxiliary, and Best Percussion.

Veterans to be Honored at PHS Veterans Day Ceremony

The Panther Battalion Corps of Cadets requests the honor of Veterans at the PHS Veterans Day Ceremony to be held at 10:45 AM on Wednesday, November 11th. The ceremony will be held at Perry High School (map).

College Credit Plus Meeting – Tuesday, November 3rd @ 6 PM

The PHS Guidance Department will be holding a College Credit Plus meeting on Tuesday, November 3rd at 6:00 PM in AV200 at Perry High School.  This meeting is for all students and parents interested in learning more about College Credit Plus and ways a student can earn college credit while in high school.  AP and IB programs will be touched upon, but the main focus will be college courses completed at the high school and on the college campus.
