Internet Safety for Parents Program – Wednesday, March 8th @ 6:30 PM

Sauder Elementary and Lake Cable Elementary of Jackson Local Schools will be hosting the Internet Safety for Parents Program on Wednesday, March 8th from 6:30p – 8:30p. The program is free to attend and open to all. The program will take place at the Jackson High School Center for Performing Arts (map). Questions can be directed to Laura Henson (lspcwh@gmail.com). Girls on the Run at Pfeiffer Intermediate School

Girls on the Run CirclesPfeiffer Intermediate will be hosting a Girls on the Run program this coming spring. Girls on the Run is a program that aims to inspire girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained coaches lead small teams through our research-based curricula which include dynamic discussions, activities, and running games. Over the course of the 10-week program, girls in 3rd through 8th grade develop essential skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. Pfeiffer Announces January Students of the Month

January Student of the Month 2016-17 (1)Pfeiffer Intermediate School is proud to announce the January Students of the Month. Student selections are by community teachers under the following criteria:

  • Students must demonstrate the Big 3 (Respectful/Responsible/Safe)
  • Students must show character
  • Students must demonstrate a good attitude on a daily basis
  • Students must give consistent effort

Pfeiffer Announces 2nd Grading Period Honor & Merit Roll Students

honor_rollPfeiffer students qualifying for the second quarter honor roll and merit roll have been announced. To be listed on the honor roll a student must have a 3.5 – 4.00 grade-point average. To be listed on the merit roll a student must have a 3.00 – 3.49 grade-point average. Congratulations to all students who earned this academic recognition.

Pfeiffer Winter Carnival – Friday, January 27th

wintercarnivalPfeiffer’s Winter Carnival will take place on Friday, January 27th from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. A $5 admission fee includes food, drink entertainment and much more! Tickets will be on sale during lunch periods Tuesday, January 24th through Thursday, January 26th.  (more…)

Additional Band Concert Added for Friday, December 16th @ 9 AM

Due to the potential of a very large crowd for our Pfeiffer Band Concert at 8:00 PM on Thursday (12/15) evening, we are adding an additional performance on Friday, December 16th at 9:00 AM in the Pfeiffer gym.  If there are grandparents and parents who can make it to the Friday morning concert we strongly encourage you to attend this concert rather than the Thursday night performance.  All band students must attend the Thursday night performance even if a family will be attending the Friday concert.
