One2One Computer Parent Letter for Summer 2019
The focus of the One2One program in the Perry Local Schools is to provide tools and resources for the 21st century learner. Excellence in education requires that technology be seamlessly integrated throughout the educational curricula. Increased access to technology is essential to build upon college and career readiness skills. The individual use of computers in the classroom is a way to create a personalized learning environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking for all learners.
Each student in grades 5-12 will be issued a computer at the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year at no cost to the students/parents, unless parents choose to purchase optional insurance. (more…)
Today at Pfeiffer we are participating in a Wellness Day. Throughout the year, we have worked to make positive connections with each other. The students and staff have been amazing. We wanted to have one final day of making connections to highlight all the wonderful things the students have been doing. Below you can find the presentation that was made available to our students. This presentation highlights all the information for the summer, such as camps and free activities that can be found in our area. We hope you have an amazing summer!!
Join the Perry High School Cheerleaders for their 3rd Annual Summer Kids Camp Unicorn Theme! Camp includes instruction based cheer, dance techniques, and a snack. Each participant will receive a t-shirt**. Camp will end on June 20th with a performance at 6:30pm followed by a movie on the football field. Click here for the flyer.
YMCA Summer Day Camp is a wonderful place for your child to experience fun, outdoor adventures this summer. New and returning campers thrive during a week packed full of exciting, structured activities. Please leave a detailed message including: student’s name(s), school, daycare or address change, contact number, and if this is for A.M. or P.M. busing or both.
Throughout the summer months, Perry Local School District will be serving FREE BREAKFAST and LUNCH to ANY student/Child who is 18 years of age and under (children with developmental disabilities and approved individualized education programs may participate through 21 years of age). The 5th Grade Student Recognition Assembly will be at 11:30 on May 28, 2019. The 6th Grade Student Recognition Assembly will be at 12:50 on May 28, 2019.
Opportunity Day will be held at the Career Wellness Center including the gym and the pool. 6th Grade Opportunity Day will be Tuesday, May 21st from 8:30-10:30am. 5th Grade Opportunity Day will be Friday, May 24th from 8:30-10:30am. If your son/daughter qualifies for Opportunity Day, they will be walking up to the Career and Wellness Center (weather permitting) to swim, if they signed up, or to use the gym. If they choose to swim, please make sure they have a swimsuit and towel.
