Pfeiffer Students Empathize as Part of Anti-Bullying Classes

This past Friday, May 6th, Pfeiffer students had a great discussion and learned quite a bit about the topic of empathy in their anti-bully class meeting.  We talked about what empathy is and how to show it.  Students learned that the four most important elements of empathy were being able to see THEIR world, appreciating THEM as human beings/not judgmental, understanding feelings, and communicating feelings.  Our final meeting of the year will Friday, May 20th to wrap-up some of the most important topics from throughout 2015-16.  Hopefully, students have a better appreciation of each other and most importantly, they know the importance of being a UPSTANDER!
