Orders are now being taken for the 2015 – 2016 Pfeiffer Yearbook. The cost for yearbooks is $15 cash or check. Checks can be made payable to Pfeiffer Intermediate School. The deadline to submit yearbook order forms is Wednesday, March 16th. Yearbooks can also be ordered online for $16 ($15 + $1 processing fee) by visiting this link. The deadline to order yearbooks online is Friday, March 18th.

P.A.T.S. would like to invite you to join your child for our Morning with Mom (Grade 6 only) event on Friday, March, 18th, from 8:00 to 8:30 am. This is a special time when the children can share a treat with their Mom or other special woman in their life.
Please return the permission slip no later than Monday, March, 14th otherwise your student will not be released from their class. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept any forms after the date listed above because we have to pre-order the donuts. Due to limited space, this event is just for Pfeiffer students and one guest. We cannot accommodate other family members. Please meet your child in the cafeteria BEFORE entering the gym. On March 4, 2016, The 5th-grade honors classes had the opportunity to meet Mr. Jin Stearns, author of the book Lost Seoul. The students, who had recently read his book, got the chance to discuss it with Mr. Stearns.The students were able to ask questions about his life in Korea and his life now. Mr. Stearns also talked about the writing of the book and how it is now being made into a movie. Sharing his story with both students and parents was a wonderful experience for everyone.

Stark State College is hosting Tech Savvy, a daylong science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) career conference designed to attract girls in sixth through ninth grade to these fields and to inform families about STEM education and careers. The Perry Players, celebrating their 55th anniversary season, present Monty Python’s Spamalot, the hilarious “Tony Award” winning Broadway musical. Shows will take place at 7:30 PM each evening beginning on Wednesday, March 16th through Saturday, March 19th in the Mattichione Theatre at Perry High School. A matinee will be held on Sunday, March 20th at 2:30 PM. Tickets are $10 each. Click here for a ticket order form.
Perry Local Schools will be closed, Tuesday, February 16, 2016, due to inclement weather. Parents/Guardians and students involved in PHS extracurricular activities should check district websites and media outlets for the status of extracurricular events on days when schools are closed. All extracurricular activities (practices, games, and after school activities) for Perry’s elementary buildings, Pfeiffer Intermediate School, and Edison Middle School are cancelled for the day when Perry Local Schools are closed. YCare is closed when Perry Local Schools close for the day. Childcare through the YMCA is offered at the Massillon YMCA, Meyers Lake YMCA, and the Navarre Towpath YMCA when schools are closed.
