The Pfeiffer Winter Carnival will proceed as scheduled for Friday, January 31st from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Tickets will be sold today (1/30) and tomorrow (1/31) during lunch periods.
Due to extreme cold temperatures, tonight’s Academic Challenge parent meeting at Pfeiffer has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, February 4th at 6:00 PM.
During the month of March, all 5th grade boys and girls will be presented a lesson on human maturation (“Just Around the Corner for Boys” and “Just Around the Corner for Girls”). Parents/Guardians have the opportunity to preview the human maturation materials during conference time, February 11th and February 13th. Any parent/guardian who would like to preview the materials can schedule a preview during your child’s conference by contacting Pfeiffer’s 5th grade counselor, Pam Paustenbach, at (330) 477-8121 ext 4800 (pam.paustenbach
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, February 11th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Online scheduling will begin on Monday, February 3rd at 5:00 PM off of Pfeiffer’s website. Parents/Guardians without internet access can call Pfeiffer’s office beginning on Tuesday, February 4th between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM to schedule a conference (330.478.6163).
Congratulations to Natalie Tilton, Aidan Longwell, and Hunter Metzger for been chosen as Top D.A.R.E. Students at Pfeiffer Intermediate School for the second nine-week grading period. They have exceeded all expectations the class has offered. These students will also be invited to be part of the Perry Police Summer P.R.I.D.E. Program. Officer Bill Watson of the Perry Police Department instructs this class. D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is a collaborative program in which local law enforcement and local schools join together to educate students about the personal and social consequences of substance abuse and violence and to help students learn how to make healthy Choices & Decisions. D.A.R.E. is instructed in all 50 States, all U.S, Providences & Territories, all U.S. Military Bases and 48 Countries around the world. The Perry Police Department has been teaching the D.A.R.E. curriculum for 24 years straight.

Pfeiffer’s Winter Carnival will be held on Friday, January 31st from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. A $5 admission fee allows students to participate in photo booth, inflatables, video games, food, and much more! Tickets will be sold during lunch periods Tuesday, January 28th through Thursday, January 30th. Pfeiffer students must fill out a permission slip before a ticket can be purchased.
