Pfeiffer Announces April Lunch Bucket Award Winners

These students “Go to Work” each day with great “Attitude and Effort”.  Each student was presented with a Certificate, mini “lunch bucket” and had their name read over the P.A. to recognize this achievement.  Great Job!

Pfeiffer Girls On the Run Teams Gaining Momentum

GOTRPfeiffer’s Girls on the Run (GOTR) teams have been learning a lot and getting physically fit.  As part of each practice a lesson is taught to help the girls learn more about self-esteem, assertiveness, dealing with peer pressures, valuing relationships and teamwork, and understanding how they connect with and shape the world at large.  The team is also working hard to prepare for their upcoming 5K at Walsh University on Saturday, May 31. Check in at Walsh is from 6:00 a.m.-7:40 a.m. The 5K starts at 8:00 a.m.  This 5K is for women only and walkers are welcome to join.  The GOTR Whipple team is already registered but if other female family members or community members would like to join, the 5K online registration is available by clicking here.

6th Grade Send Off Party – Friday, May 2nd

farewellpartyPfeiffer’s 6th Grade Send Off Party will be held on Friday, May 2nd from 8:30 PM – 10:30 PM at the Massillon Recreation Center (map). Tickets are $5 for Pfeiffer 6th grade students only and will be sold Wednesday, April 30th through Friday, May 2nd during lunch periods. More information, including permission slips, will be sent home the week of April 28th. Students must purchase a ticket and submit a  permission slip signed by a parent/guardian in order to attend.  Click here for the student permission slip and volunteer information.



Parents: School Lunch Charging Information

lunchBeginning on Monday, May 19th through the end of the school year students will no longer be permitted to charge a lunch in the cafeteria. Charging will not be permitted for students who are on paid and/or reduced meal plans.  All charges must be paid by the last day of school. Charges that are not paid in full may result in holding the last report card which may prevent a student from moving on to the next grade level.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Athletic Physicals Offered Through Affinity Medical Center – June 13th

athletic physicalsAffinity Medical Center will offer a complete physical that meets the requirements of the Ohio High School Athletic Association for prospective Perry athletes on Friday, June 13th at Perry High School. Cost of the physical is $10 payable at check-in on Friday, June 13th. Checks can be made payable to Perry High School. Check-in for physicals begins at 2:20 PM in the athletic wing lobby.  Physicals are  good for one calendar year. Athletes whose current physicals expire May 17th through June 13th will be granted an extension so that they may take advantage of the physicals being offered on June 13th.  Prospective athletes must have a completed (more…)

PHS Business Students Help Pfeiffer Snack Shack


The Business Department would like to congratulate PHS students Trisha Barnett and Katelyn MacArthur and Pfeiffer students Lincoln Warstler, Logan Keim, Jack Wagner, and Payton Daugherty for being Business Plan Development Program award recipients. Because of their business plan, the Massillon Area Chamber of Commerce awarded $500 to Pfeiffer Middle School to start a business, The Pfeiffer Snack Shack. All proceeds from the Pfeiffer Snack Shack will be donated to the Pfeiffer Homework Club so that students who need tutoring can stay after school to get the help they need. Thanks Trisha and Katelyn for making a difference in Perry!

Bands in the Round, May 8th

birThe end of the school year is fast approaching, and that means everyone’s favorite night of the year is almost here!  Bands In The Round will be held on May 8th, at 7:00 PM in the PHS Main Gym.  Tickets are $6.00 per person and will be sold at the door.  If you are planning to use your Palace Tickets for admission, you must present those tickets at the door.
