The Perry Local School District would like to thank the Perry Township Voters for their faith in the mission and vision of Perry Local Schools. Tuesday, November 5th, voters turned out to renew the Perry Local Schools levy. Superintendent Marty Bowe says ” We want to assure you that we will continue to be as frugal as possible with your tax dollars, while still providing our Perry kids the first class education they deserve. Your support of our schools is what makes it possible to prepare our next generation for success, and to move the entire Perry community forward. Thank you!”

Pfeiffer students qualifying for the first-quarter honor roll and merit roll have been announced. To be listed on the honor roll a student must have a 3.5 – 4.00 grade-point average. To be listed on the merit roll a student mush have a 3.00 – 3.49 grade-point average. Congratulations to all students who earned this academic recognition.

D.A.R.E. will sponsor a skate party on Friday, November 15th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the North Canton Skate Center. The cost to participate is $5.75 which includes skate/roller blade rental. Speed skates are $1.50 extra. *New activities are laser tag, rock-wall, bumper cars, euro bungee, and 30 new video games. *Pricing for additional activities is $5.75 per activity or $20.00 for an unlimited bracelet.

Lorrie was honored at the 2013 People of Character Recognition, sponsored by the Stark County Educational Service Center, on Tuesday, October 22nd. The event was held at the RG Drage Career Technical Center. Congratulations Lorrie, you make Pfeiffer proud.
Congratulations to Danielle Thomas, Hannah Leapline, Jacob Collins, and Kameron Sowards (pictured left to right) who have been chosen as Top D.A.R.E. Students at Pfeiffer Intermediate School for the 1st 9-week grading period. Each student has exceeded all expectations the class has offered. The Perry Gymnastics team wold love for you to joins us on Saturday, November 16th for a fun filled morning of gymnastics. Each child will have time to try all four events (floor, balance beam, uneven bars, and vault) and receive instruction on basic skills from Perry gymnasts. Kent State University at Stark will hold a Super Science Saturday for students in grades 4-7 on November 2nd from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the Fine Arts Building on the campus of Kent State University at Stark (map). Cost for this cool event is $10 per student, which includes a t-shirt and a big bag full of neat science stuff! Registration is due by Monday, October 28th. Space is limited to only 100 participants.
