$125.00 per student- due no later than May 2nd
(Checks made payable to Pfeiffer Intermediate School)

March 30th     Candy Sent home for Participants

April 13th       All Money and Orders Due

May 2nd         Registration Packet & Money due for Camp
May 8th          Fundraiser Pick-Up in Pfeiffer Cafeteria
May 16-18th  Outdoor Ed. Camp

 

PARENTS
DROP OFF and PICKUP TIMES:
Wednesday, May 16th through Friday, May 18th

Drop off student at Pfeiffer no later than 8:45AM on Wednesday morning. (Students can’t ride buses with camping gear)

 

* Have all camping gear secure with name on the outside 
* Bedding in large trash bags to keep dry and clean…name on outside
* Check in with teacher immediately inside the main door
* If applicable, have medications in proper containers and camp money

(There is a store on site for souvenirs etc. which is optional.  Money will be held by chaperones and any money not used, will be returned to your child)

  • PICK UP YOUR CHILD AT 1:30 pm ON Friday AT PFEIFFER (Students can’t ride buses with camping gear)

 

 

USBORNE BOOK FAIR

Friday, March 30th

Today is the last day of the book fair.  The Usborne Book Fair will be open today from 8:00 to 12:30.  If you didn’t come to the book fair yesterday, ask your teacher if you can visit today… if you brought your money!

ATTENTION OUTDOOR ED. CAMPERS!!!

If your student is attending the Outdoor Ed. camp at Camp Muskingum, they must have their student fees (planner and calculator) and any other fees/fines paid before they will be permitted to go.  If you are not sure if your student owes for anything, please contact the school office at 330-478-6163 and speak to Ms. Brownfield.

D.A.R.E. GRADUATION

D.A.R.E. Graduation is today, Tuesday, March 27th, in the Pfeiffer gymnasium. All are welcome to attend.

Cheerleading Tryouts

There will be a mandatory parent meeting on Wednesday, March 21st at 7:30 pm in the PHS Library for students grade 7 through 12 interested in trying out for cheerleading for the 2012-2013 school year.

7th & 8th Grade Cheerleading Try-Outs Information:
Cheer Clinics to learn try-out material: 3:00-5:00 pm, — Pfeiffer Gym

DONUTS FOR DADS — FRIDAY, MARCH 23rd

Friday, March 23, is Donuts for Dads.  Donuts will be served from 8:20 – 8:50 a.m.  Please indicate below who will attend with your child. This will be your student’s pass to this event.

Please return THIS SLIP no later than Wednesday, March 21.  Your student will need this slip to be released from their 1st period/Intervention on the morning of March 23.

Due to financial constraints and space issues, this event is just for Pfeiffer students and their parent or guardian.  We cannot accommodate siblings or extended family.

Please meet your child in the cafeteria before entering the gym.

OUTDOOR EDUCATIONAL CAMP MEETING (WED. MAR. 21st)

There will be an informational parent meeting for the 6th grade Outdoor Ed. camp on Wed. March 21st at 6:30 PM.  We will have representatives there from Camp Muskingum to tell parents all about the camp and address any questions or concerns.  A representative from Award Fundraising will also speak about our upcoming fundraiser and how your student can earn moeny toward the cost of camp.

Perry Announces Energy Conservation Poster Winners!

Perry Local Schools are doing their part to conserve, save energy and to save MONEY!  The district has a committee consisting of representatives from every building in the district with the purpose of finding ways to cut back, conserve and ultimately save energy costs.  Recently, the Energy Conservation Committee (ECC) conducted a poster contest amongst our students to promote conservation and we are happy to announce the winners:
Elementary/Pfeiffer winner:  Landon Kelly – First grade, Watson Elementary
His saying:  “Be Bright, turn out the Light!”  “We Save Energy”

Edison/PHS winner:  Macy Kittelberger – 8th grade, Edison Middle School
Her saying:  “The Panthers are Lights Out!”  “Save Energy”

They were recognized by our Board of Education Tuesday night, February 28 and their posters were distributed to all the buildings throughout the district for display.  Congratulations Landon and Macy!!

The Edison Parent Support Group cordially invites you to attend one of our upcoming meetings on Thursday, March 1st; Thursday, April 12th and/or Thursday, May 10th   at 6:30 pm in the Edison library.  We encourage you to see firsthand what the EPSG group is about, the volunteer opportunities available, and what it does to service your children.
