The district has a committee consisting of representatives from every building in the district with the purpose of finding ways to cut back, conserve and ultimately save energy costs. Recently, the Energy Conservation Committee (ECC) conducted a poster contest amongst our students to promote conservation and we are happy to announce the winners:
Elementary/Pfeiffer winner: Landon Kelly – First grade, Watson Elementary
His saying: “Be Bright, turn out the Light!” “We Save Energy”

Pfeiffer is part of the district wide campaign to save energy. To kick off the campaign, the district had a poster contest. Each building participated by having students create posters about conserving energy in our schools. The entries were submitted and a winner was chosen for each building. The winner for Pfeiffer was 5th grader Zoey Hoagland. Zoey’s poster was one of the finalists for the district. Congratulations Zoey!
