College Credit Plus Program Information

Students who are not currently in a CCP course or who have not previously completed a CCP course must now have a college readiness score to participate in the College Credit Plus program.  Once the student has a college readiness score, the student may apply to a college or university CCP program.  The student must meet all the college/university requirements for admission and any prerequisite requirements for college courses the student may wish to enroll.  (more…)

Career Tech Application: Due Wednesday, December 20, 2017

The online application is now available for sophomore students that would like to apply for a Career Tech program at Perry High School or Canton South High School.
Applications are due December 20, 2017.
  • Perry High School Programs: Cosmetology, Culinary, Engineering, Healthcare Occupations, Med-Tech, Teacher Academy.
  • Canton South High School Programs: Animal Science, Automotive, Biomedical, Construction, Graphic Design, Programming/Game Design, Sports Medicine, Welding/Metal Fab.

Perry Wrestling Night Out at Game Time – Tuesday, December 5, 2017

Show your team spirit by joining us for a fundraiser to support the Perry Wrestling Booster Club. Come into the Game Time on  Tuesday, December 5th between 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM.  Mention Perry wrestling to make sure that a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Perry Wrestling Booster Club.

Update on Recent Events and Days to Follow:

The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. Earlier this afternoon, a few community members demonstrated outside of the high school. This was not student-led. We understand the pain and sorrow our students, families and community members are facing over the recent loss of several Perry students.  (more…)

PHS Students Coming Together – November 16th & 17th

On November 16th and 17th, Perry High School’s student council and student leaders will be hosting a Rebound and Restore two-day event for all Perry High School students. The purpose of the event is to allow a time for students to Come Together, Create Community and Spread Kindness. Day one, students are asked to dress in Perry Pride colors. Students will have the opportunity to get to know their peers in small groups and participate in a number of activities. Day two, students are asked to wear blue/purple in support of mental health. Students will spend time participating in a number of small group discussions on important topics.

On Friday, November, 17th, Perry High students will have early dismissal at 1:30 p.m.
