2018 Summer Physical Education Registration

cache-94-02-9402e70622f4ce4fa44fef3a5f6dcdfaRegistration for 2018 Summer Physical Education for PHS and Edison students is now open. Click here for a registration form and more information. Completed forms, with payment, should be turned into your counselor at PHS or Mrs. Mizer in Edison’s main office. The cost for 2018 Summer PE is $160.  All fees must be paid in full prior to the end of the day on Friday, May 25th. Students with outstanding fees will not be permitted to take summer school courses until all fees are paid in full. Checks can be made payable to Perry Local Schools. No tuition fees will be returned after the first day of class.

Perry Teacher Academy Students Exhibit Strong Showing at Statewide Conference

Students in Perry High School’s (PHS) Teacher Academy recently competed at the Educators Rising Ohio State Conference on March 15 and 16 at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus and earned a number of impressive accolades.

Over 800 students participated in the state competition with 30-40 competitors in each event—the highest number of participants in the conference’s history.  (more…)

Perry High School’s Mock Trial Team Competes at State Competition

After a successful win at both the district and regional levels, Perry High School’s (PHS) mock trial team competed at the state competition March 8-10 in Columbus against St. Xavier High School and Upper Arlington High School. Unfortunately, Perry lost to Upper Arlington and did not advance to the final rounds.

PHS Bands Earn Superior Ratings

Congratulations to the Perry Symphonic Winds and the Perry Concert Band. Both groups earned superior ratings at OMEA District Contest on Friday evening and will be headed to State for the 8th straight year.

Perry Hat Day – Friday, March 23, 2018

March 23rd is Hat Day, for $1 you can wear your hat ALL DAY LONG! This is a friendly competition between schools in our district to see which school can raise the most money. All money raised is split three ways:  the school that raises the most money will get to choose a non-profit organization where a third of the money will be sent, a third goes to Business Professionals of America (BPA–Co-sponsors this event) and another third goes to Perry Athletic Hall of Fame (Co-sponsors of this event).  Show your support by wearing your favorite hat on March 23rd!

Notice of Change in Payment to Perry Local Schools

Due to an instituted change by Perry’s banking partner, effective immediately all checks for school activities, clubs, etc should be made out to Perry Local Schools. The memo line can be used to distinguish the specific activity, club, etc for which the check was written for.
