Watson Elementary will hold their inaugural Walk-A-Thon on Friday, October 10th during school hours. Participation is free for students who will walk with their classmates during an assigned time. The Walk-A-Thon will be our main fundraiser for the year. Students will solicit flat rate donations instead of selling items in a traditional merchandise fundraiser. All donations raised will be used to fund our planned events (COSI, Glow Night, Bingo Night, Mother/Son, Father/Daughter, Success Club, 4th Grade Party and gifts, Field Day, and Field Trips to name a few) for the year. Friends, neighbors, and cousins of Sharon Budd are hosting a silent auction and raffle on Friday, September 19th from 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM at the Raintree Country Club in Uniontown. Perry Girls Youth Basketball is now accepting registration for girls in grades 3-6 for the upcoming fall basketball league. The league begins on October 7th and runs through November 16th. Girls will participate in a two week skills camp and a four week practice and game schedule. Practices will be held two nights a week with officiated games on Sundays. A parent meeting will be held on September 30th at 7:00 PM in the cafeteria at Pfeiffer.
Perry Youth Basketball has started online registration for boys in grades 3-6 and boys and girls for the co-ed second grade program. This is a league for players of all skill levels. Practices start November 3 and the first games are at Perry High School December 7. Go to perryyouthbasketball.com for more information and online registration.
