D.A.R.E. will sponsor a skate party on Monday, February 17th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the North Canton Skate Center. The cost to participate is $5.75 which includes skate/roller blade rental. Speed skates are $1.50 extra. *New activities are laser tag, rock-wall, bumper cars, euro bungee, and 30 new video games. *Pricing for additional activities is $5.75 per activity or $20.00 for an unlimited bracelet.
Watson UNITE is now accepting nominations for officers for the 2014-2015 school year. Positions to be filled include the Executive Committee: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, as well as chairpersons of the Nominating and Scholarship committees. Descriptions of each position can be found on the nomination form linked below. If you are interested in serving in any of these positions, please complete and return the form by Thursday, February 6th.

The Stark County District Library and the Perry Sippo Branch Library are pleased to announce the Kindergarten: Ready or Not 2014 Program on Thursday, February 27th from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM. Adults and incoming kindergarten students can join principals and school officials for questions, answers, and recommendation of materials. While the adults learn children will be entertained with stories, songs, and crafts. Register online or by phone by calling (330) 477-8482.
Tonight’s (Friday, January 24th) Bingo Night at Watson has been cancelled due to the closing of school. It has been rescheduled for Friday, January 31st at 6:00 PM.
Parents/Guardians wishing to attend their child’s Valentine’s Day Party need to contact the head room parent of your child’s classroom by February 7, 2014. If you are unsure of the head room parent of your child’s class, please contact your child’s teacher via email. Parents that are not on the party list will be UNABLE to attend the party. Check in starts at 2:00 PM. Please bring a valid ID (license or state issue ID) to check in.
