Last Thursday afternoon students at Watson Elementary kicked off an important fundraising drive sponsored by U.N.I.T.E, our parent/teacher support group. Money raised will help support projects and activities for all Watson students throughout the school year. We are hopeful that parents and students will give Watson the necessary support to make it an overwhelming success. Order forms and payment are due on Friday, September 27th. Perry Youth Basketball will hold registration for the upcoming 2013-2014 season. Parents/Guardians of boys in grades 3-6 can register their child on Sunday, September 22 or Sunday, September 29 from 3:00p – 7:00p at the Perry Township Hall (map). All elementary buildings within Perry schools will have an open house for parents/guardians and students on Thursday, August 15th from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Students are encouraged to bring their school supplies to open house.
Perry Local Schools, in partnership with the YMCA of Western Stark County, will be offering before and after school child care for Watson Elementary students beginning in the 2013-2014 school year. Parents of students who participate will need to make arrangements to drop students off each morning at Genoa Elementary. Students will be bused to Watson to start the school day. Watson students participating in the after school program will be bused to Genoa. Parents will need to make arrangements to pick students up at Genoa Elementary.
