Ongoing weather challenges have certainly been a disruption to our school days. In an effort to assist your children in keeping up with grade level curriculum, teachers have designed assignments that your children can do from the comforts of their home. Kindergarten registration for the 2014-2015 school year will take place during the dates and times listed below. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to download and complete the 2014-2015 Kindergarten Registration Packet in advance. Registration packets are also available at each elementary building.
In order to help celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday, Watson Elementary is having their Literacy Night on Tuesday, February 25th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM and our theme is “Oh The Places We Can Go!” We have invited members of our community to share with the students a book that tells about their job. We are so excited about this evening and we hope to have all of our Watson families there. If you have not sent in your RSVP yet, please do so today!
The Panther Baseball Skills Camps will be held Sunday, March 2, 2014. The camp will be held at Perry High School in the main gym. Instruction will be led by the Perry High School coaches and players. Cost is $50 per child. Click here for more information and to download the registration form.
The fall fundraiser limo lunch, originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 19th, has been postponed. This event will be rescheduled and communicated as soon as a new date is determined.
Elementary Lunch Menu Changes: Wednesday (2/19) – Romeo’s Pizza or Sub Sandwich, Thursday (2/20) – Chicken Nuggets or Turkey & Gravy, Friday (2/21) – Cheese Stuffed Breadsticks or Sloppy Joe Sandwich
PHS Passport to France registration is now open to 4th, 5th and 6th graders! There is still room for more Perry 4th, 5th or 6th grade students to join us on Friday, February 28th from 5:30-9:00 pm. Students will travel from room to room completing French-inspired activities like: French food, French music & dance and French games!
