Watson Walks for Autism

Art For WebsiteA group of Watson Elementary teachers, staff, district administrators, students, families and friends worked together to raise more than $1,550 for autism research and awareness through the Stark County Walks for Autism event last month.  Much praise goes out to the families who supported the event so graciously. The event, which was held at the Hall of Fame, featured 46 walkers from within our great community who were supported by friends and family who gave financially either through a gift to Autism Speaks or by purchasing one of our t-shirts. The team came in fourth place this year and plans to set even higher expectations for next year’s walk!
