We have a new bulletin board at Whipple this year!  Mrs. Hixenbaugh has taken charge of recognizing students that have gone above and beyond to exemplify kindness. Every month each grade level will nominate a student and write up why they were chosen as a Kindness Crusader. Please congratulate:

September Principal Showcase

The 2020-2021 school year is off to a great start!  This week we announced our first Principal Showcase students.   The Principal Showcase is a bulletin board located in the main hallway across from the office where teachers submit student work for recognition and display based on student effort.  The students are recognized at school and on our website.  Additionally, they receive a small token from Mrs. Mytinger to reinforce her pride and excitement for their hard work.  Below is a listing of the Principal Showcase Recipients for September 2020:

Literacy Night and Art Show

Go Wild at Whipple!  This was our theme for our Annual Literacy Night and School-Wide Art Show.  As you walk up and down the halls, colorful, jungle artwork covers the walls.  The students, under direction of Mrs. Mullane, learned all different types of art techniques and used the techniques to create jungle-themed artwork.  Although the evening was canceled, we wanted you to still be able to enjoy the artwork. We are very proud of our students and all of their hard work! The artwork will eventually come home with the students, but until then, enjoy!

**A special thank you to our fourth grade students and Miss Teske for taking pictures.
