District Hat Day, March 22

This competition is district wide to see which school can raise the most money. The school that raises the most money will be recognized and be able to choose what charity a third of the money will go to. This event is sponsored by PHS Business Professionals of America (BPA) and the Perry Athletic Hall of Fame!  Show your support and wear a hat on Friday March 22nd!

Speak Life Resiliency Run May 4th

downloadPerry Local School District will host a 5K run/walk, called the Speak Life Resiliency Run, on May 4 in commemoration of the students who lost their lives last year. All of the funds raised by the race will be donated to Akron Children’s Hospital and Coleman Professional Services. Click here to register! The 5K was established after many discussions between Perry High School  students and Principal Dave Riley. In particular, PHS senior Bryan Winslow, sophomore Peter Smith and freshman Zach Smith have spearheaded the discussions with hopes to preserve the memory of the peers they sadly lost.

Winter Literacy Night/Art Show

Picture for WebsiteThis week our Title One Teachers along with our Amazing Art Teacher hosted another successful family night. We had over 150 families attend this year’s Winter Literacy Night/Art Show. Check out a few of the pics from our big event!

Honoring Superstar Effort!

IMG_4992Great things continue to happen at Whipple Heights Elementary School. The most recent being the posting of Mr. Hug’s 6th Round Principal Showcase for the 2018-2019 school year. The Principal Showcase is a bulletin board (located in the main hallway across from the office) where every four to five weeks teachers submit student work for recognition and display based on student effort. Each time the board is changed we recognize these students on our website/social media. Additionally, when it’s time to change the board students receive a small token from Mr. Hug to reinforce his pride and excitement in their display of hard work. (more…)

Cornhole Tournament March 1, 2019

Cornhole-GThe Perry Local Schools and Hayden’s Story have partnered to bring Link Crew to Perry High School next school year. Link Crew aims to make the transition into high school easier for freshmen by support and guidance from their peers. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward the Link Crew Leadership and Mentoring program.  Click here for more information.
