Great things continue to happen at Whipple Heights Elementary School. The most recent being the posting of Mr. Hug’s 5th Round Principal Showcase. The Principal Showcase is a bulletin board (located in the main hallway across from the office) where every four to five weeks teachers submit student work for recognition and display. Each time the board is changed we recognize these students on our website/social media. Additionally, when it’s time to change the board students receive a small token from Mr. Hug to reinforce his pride and excitement in their display of hard work. (more…)
A BIG THANK YOU to all who attended our Winter Literacy/Art Night on Thursday, February 25, 2016. So many of our students and families were able to tour the building to observe the INCREDIBLE works of art created in Mrs. Mullane’s Art classes as well as engage in fun crafts based off of these works of art. We had two very special visitors as well. The snow princess herself, Elsa and her best snow friend, Olaf! Elsa read the story The Three Snow Bears by Jan Brett to our Whipple friends and then afterwards, Elsa and Olaf posed for pictures. The evening capped off with a basket raffle where 5 of our students took home some exciting literacy/art baskets. Once again, another family fun night at Whipple. As always, thank you for your continued support!
