Bahamas Water Relief Initiative

Perry Local Schools, lead by PHS Student Council has been taking on an initiative to bring clean water to the Bahamas.  The island has seen its water supply depleted by the damage done by Hurricane Dorian.  The District is assisting Bahama Native and area Pastor, Cedric Beckles in conjunction with other entities to deliver clean water to the people of the Bahamas.  Due to the high demand, a resource we take for granted day to day has come at a premium for the island especially in the immediate area.  The District has secured nearly 8,100 gallons of water from Sand Rock and over 400 additional empty containers have been donated.  There have been many other donations including the Major Sponsorship of Aqua Ohio.  Most of the expense lies in the logistics of getting the water to the island.  Please help us Friday Night in supporting this wonderful cause and bringing hope to the Bahama Islands.
